Resolution - Alltel Customer Service

This is a bit late, I’ve been busy with Christmas, enjoying the break, playing Wii, etc.

The day before Christmas (Wednesday), the circular ring fell out of the phone and was lost in the abyss of between-my-console-and-seat-land.  I figured, for sure, that I would not be getting any sort of help from Alltel and returning the phone after that.  I immediately I went in on Friday and the same person was there that I had spoken with a few days prior.  I walked in the store, she asked for my phone, and stepped in the back to talk to the manager.
She re-emerged five minutes later with a new phone in hand.  It was that easy.

Brief overview:  I now have a new BlackBerry.  Turnaround took way too long, but I eventually got what I wanted.

Brief update 2 - Alltel Customer Service

I couldn’t get ahold of anyone at the local stores (Rhinelander or Minocqua) because they didn’t answer the store phone.  I pulled into the Minocqua store and there were no other customers there.  I talked with a representative, asked to see the manager, and she asked me what sorts of problems I was having.  I told her exactly the story, where I’ve been, who I’ve called, etc.  She told me that she would talk to her manager about my situation, and that the manager would be in during her same hours (Today, 9-5) and that I should stop in and she’d try to get me taken care of.

Off I am to shower and get ready for yet another visit.  Let’s see what happens today.
